Christopher Birk is originally from Copenhagen Denmark but has lived in New York City since 2007. He graduated from The American Academy Of Dramatic Arts in New York in 2009 - the oldest acting school in the US. Other alumnis from The Academy includes Robert Redford, Lauren Bacall, Danny DeVito, Carrie-Ann Moss, Gace Kelly, Jennifer Coolidge, Anne Bancroft and many others.

For the graduation plays at the Academy he played the roles of Mr. Dearth in 'Dear Brutus'. A role that he hopes to play again some day. Since his graduation from the school he has already done a wide variety of plays, films and short films in New York city. In 2009 he took on the ongoing challenge of 'Happy Hour' at the 45th street theatre, followed by 'Escape From The Women's Wacko Ward' at the legendary 'Duplex' cabaret theatre. In the fall of 2009 he was featured in plays in the Manhattan Repertory Fall Play Festival and The ... Minutes Before... Short Play Festival.

As for films he in early 2009 was part of 'Look At Me' - a short film by Alex Lugones, chosen to be part of the Connecticut Film Festival. In December 2009 he was starring in the popular short film "Solomon Grundy, Born On A Monday". This film, by Mattson Tomlin, was put up for funding on the fundraising website of Kickstarter.com. Here it raised over 13,000 dollars and in the summer of 2010 will be filmed as a feature film. The film will be produced by Henry Fernaine, who produced the Oscar-winning movie 'Revolutionary Road'. The short version of Solomon Grundy has so far been part of The National Film Festival For Talented Youth and The EgoFest Film Festival.

Also, in spring 2010, Christopher made a series of successful short films with sophomores at New York University, he did 'Papa Gorilla Banana' with the visually brilliant Boim Hwang, another short chosen for a festival - The New Filmmaker's Festival, and will in late 2010 film the New Your part of 'Momentum', a movie that follows 3 relationships in 3 different cities: Paris, Copenhagen, and New York City.
